Should Canada close it doors to the USA and start selling oil to the world?

Should Canada start selling our goods to the world and stop depending on the USA? Can Canada live with out the USA? Can Canada get better deals with other trading partners? These are the thing we need to ask Canadians.

2. in real terms ,we can all live without the usa.for the usa always seems to use a protection racket for their own ends.look out yanks the chinese are coming.
3. You can try but then GM,Ford and Chrysler will pull out and with them all the parts manufacturers of US origin but hey you have a political agenda to maintain so good luck with that. Oil is sold on the open market it just so happens that the US buys most of it is that so bad? Just think of all those pharmacy companies located in Canada that do research into new medicines, ooops there are none so again good luck. Canada is far more in need of the US then vice versa. Ignorance on my part? Please! I drive to Canada all the time taking auto parts to American Car Plants in Canada and a lot of candians are employed there. If you shut the doors to the US then those doors will be shut. How many Canadian Hockey players are there in America earning American Dollars? Plenty last time I checked. Canada is far more depenedent on the US than you want to admit that is fine but I am not ignorant by any means. Canada has too small of a popultion to shut the doors with the US and where will you travel? Cuba like some of you do now. There are plenty of Canadians that have summer homes here. Good luck and if you feel better calling me stupid then go ahead but at least I have been there and know something of your country and yes I have even traveled over seas a few times in my life.

5. Canada does sell it`s goods to the world.Canada has more free-trade deals than any other nation.Why would you want to stop selling to the US.They are good costumers.
6. Setting National pride aside I think the economics of selling our goods to the USA determines our abilities to stop trading with the USA. I will continue to sell my products to the highest bidder, I do not care whether they are Canadian, American or Chinese. The free market will determine who the consumer is, not some ingorant National pide puff trying to stir controversy.
